Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of Peregrine OS and the tools within it (Quickstrike, Kestrel, Merlin, Magpie, Eagle, Harrier, Kingfisher, Caracara, and Falconet), all built on the Flightpath.AI engine, of the Nest, our product launch board (see The Nest), and of the research and consulting services we provide (see Professional services). All of them are operated by Peregrine Intelligence LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
Peregrine OS is a suite of business intelligence and sales-outreach tools that turn public signals (funding, hiring, leadership change, technology, and news) into briefings, scores, and draft outreach content. Some output is generated using a third-party AI model provider and may be inaccurate or incomplete; you're responsible for reviewing it before you rely on it or send it to anyone.
Open Field (free job search)
Open Field is a free search of marketing job postings, from manager to CMO, with optional email job alerts ("Ear to the Ground"). It's for individuals looking for work, who must be 18 or older, and searching doesn't require an account. Paid hiring briefs, below, do. When you use it:
- Listings summarize and link to job postings that employers publish on their own career pages or on the job boards they use. We don't control or verify those postings, and a role may be inaccurate, changed, already filled, or closed.
- Role context, "Why now" notes, "What this means for you" notes, fit highlights, and market figures are informational only. They aren't career, legal, or financial advice.
- "Field notes" are written by AI once a day from the open roles we track. We check that the figures they cite match that data, but they can still be incomplete or wrong, so check the postings themselves before relying on them.
- We aren't an employer, recruiter, or employment agency. We don't receive, review, or forward applications, and applying happens entirely on the original job posting (the employer's own site or the job-board service it uses).
- Job alerts are sent only after you confirm by email, only for the search you saved, and each one has an unsubscribe link. When you confirm an alert, you also agree to be added to our Open Field email list for occasional updates about Open Field. You can unsubscribe from that list at any time from any of its emails, and unsubscribing from your last job alert removes you from it too. Any profile you save is stored only in your own browser; when you use it to search, it's sent to us for that search only and isn't stored. See the Privacy Policy.
- Don't scrape, bulk-download, or resell Open Field listings or data, or use automated means to access it beyond ordinary browsing.
Peregrine credits and briefs
Peregrine credits are one credit balance you can use across Peregrine. You buy them in packs and spend them on Peregrine OS briefs (Quickstrike, Magpie, Kestrel, and Merlin, which are paid per brief rather than by subscription), on Open Field hiring briefs (a paid, in-depth read of one Open Field role), and on on-demand refreshes of Peregrine OS feeds you subscribe to. These terms apply to credits and briefs, along with the Open Field terms above and the rest of these terms:
- Account. Buying and using credits requires a Peregrine account (the same account as Peregrine OS), which you create by signing in with Google or an email link. New accounts may receive a small number of free credits. Creating an account also adds your email to our Open Field email list for occasional updates about Open Field; you can unsubscribe from that list at any time from any of its emails, and it doesn't affect your account or credits.
- Buying credits. Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, paid in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.
- Using credits. Unlocking an Open Field hiring brief uses the number of credits shown before you unlock it. Once unlocked, a brief stays available to you at no further cost, including updates when the posting or company information changes and after the role closes, for as long as we offer briefs. If a brief can't be built, no credit is used. Some uses, like an on-demand feed refresh, a Peregrine OS brief, or opening the full results of a resume check, use the credits shown each time; if one fails, its credits are returned, and if a brief completes with some of its sources missing, part of its credits are returned automatically.
- Expiry. Credits expire 12 months after your most recent credit purchase. Buying any pack resets that period for your whole balance.
- No cash value. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money, and can only be used on Peregrine (Open Field and Peregrine OS).
- All sales are final. Credit packs are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If an unlocked brief can't be opened because of a problem on our side, email hello@peregrineintell.com and we'll return the credit. If a payment is reversed or refunded, the credits from that pack are removed from your balance, which can leave it below zero until you buy more.
- What a brief is. Briefs are written by AI from the role's posting, public web sources, and Peregrine's own data, and each claim is labeled as a fact, a read, or a hunch with its sources. We check claims against those sources, but a brief can still be incomplete or wrong, and it's informational only, not career, legal, or financial advice. Check anything that matters to you before relying on it.
- Resume check. On a hiring brief you've unlocked, you can scan your resume against that role. The first scans each day are free, and each shows how many gaps and suggested improvements it found, and in which areas. After those, a scan uses the credits shown before it runs; they count toward opening that scan's results, and come back if the scan fails. Opening the full results uses the credits shown before you open them, once per scan; reopening the same scan is free. Your account's first full results are free. Results are written by AI from your resume, the posting and the brief. Rewrites only use what your resume says, with placeholders for figures it doesn't include, but check every line before you use it: you're responsible for what you send an employer. It isn't career advice.
- Cover letters. Once you've opened a resume check's full results for a role, you can have a cover letter written for it. Writing one uses the credits shown before it's written (your account's first letter is free, on the role of its free resume results), and each letter includes a number of free revisions shown on the page; after those, a revision uses the credits shown before it runs. If a letter or a paid revision can't be written, its credits are returned. Letters are written by AI from your resume, the posting and the brief, using only what your resume shows, with placeholders for figures it doesn't include. Read and edit every letter before you send it: you're responsible for what you send an employer.
- Fair use. Briefs are for your own job search. Don't share, publish, resell, or systematically collect them, or use automated means to unlock or read them. We may suspend an account that does, without refunding its credits.
The Nest (product launch board)
The Nest is a board where makers launch products for free and anyone with a Nest account can vote on and follow them. Each launch is ranked on its launch day, then tracked with a daily Momentum score for as long as it's on the Nest. A Nest account is separate from a Peregrine OS account. You must be 18 or older to create one. These terms apply to the Nest, along with these additional terms:
- Submitting a product. Only submit a product you're authorized to represent, such as one you built or one your company makes, and keep what you submit accurate. You're responsible for your product and for what you say about it. Only upload a logo, hero image, or screenshots you have the right to use, that show the actual product, and that don't include anyone's personal information. By submitting, you let us display the product's name, tagline, description, logo, screenshots, website, and related information on the Nest and in anything we publish about it (for example, digests and share images), and show its votes, follows, and Momentum publicly.
- AI-drafted profiles. "Fill with AI" reads the website you submit and drafts the product's profile, including a list of weaknesses. You're responsible for checking and correcting everything you can edit before submitting. Weaknesses can't be edited by makers; they reflect an automated reading of the product's public website, not our endorsement or criticism, and may be imperfect. If you believe one is inaccurate, appeal it from the product page; we review every appeal and may remove, correct, or keep the weakness at our discretion. We may also run the analysis ourselves during review, and may edit any part of a profile that's inaccurate or breaks these terms.
- Review. Every launch is reviewed before it appears. We may approve, reject, reschedule, or remove any launch, at any time and at our discretion, including after it has gone live. Submitting doesn't guarantee placement, ranking, traffic, or results.
- Rankings and paid boosts. Launch-day rank comes only from votes and follows, and nobody can pay for a better launch-day rank. Momentum comes from votes, follows, visits, and maker updates, plus any paid boost, weighted as we describe on the Nest. A product with a paid boost is always labeled "Boosted" while the boost runs and for a period after, and boosted days are shown on its chart. We may change how scores are calculated, and we may weight, discount, or exclude votes, follows, or visits that we believe are fraudulent, coordinated, or automated. Our decisions on rankings are final.
- Fair voting. One account per person. Don't buy, sell, trade, or pay for votes or follows; don't offer anything in exchange for them; don't organize vote rings or ask people to create accounts just to vote; and don't use bots, scripts, or multiple accounts to vote, follow, or visit. We may exclude affected votes, remove the launch, and suspend the accounts involved.
- Maker profiles. Your profile is public. Use a name and photo that are yours to use, keep your links accurate, and don't impersonate anyone. We may change a handle or remove a profile that breaks these terms.
- Connecting traction sources. You can connect accounts you control, such as Stripe or GitHub, to your product. By connecting one, you confirm it belongs to the product and let us read the figures described in the Privacy Policy, count them toward Momentum, and show them on the Nest as you choose (revenue only as a range). Don't connect an account that isn't the product's own. We may disconnect a source or exclude its figures if we believe it's misleading, and you can disconnect at any time.
- Buying a boost. A product's maker can buy a boost, which adds a fixed number of Momentum points each day for the number of days bought. After a boost ends, the product can't be boosted again until a cooldown as long as the boost has passed. Boosts are paid in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. A boost adds Momentum points only; it doesn't guarantee a position, traffic, votes, or results. Boosts are non-refundable once they start, except where the law requires otherwise; if we remove a boosted launch for a reason that isn't a breach of these terms, or a boost can't run because of a problem on our side, we'll refund the unused days. If we remove a launch for breaching these terms, its boost ends without a refund. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.
- Products on the Nest belong to their makers. Listing a product isn't an endorsement by us. Products and their websites are run by third parties we don't control, so use them at your own risk and under their own terms.
- Deleting your account. To delete your Nest account, email hello@peregrineintell.com from the address on the account. Deletion removes your votes, follows, and any products you submitted. See the Privacy Policy for how the Nest handles your data.
Accounts
- You sign in via a passwordless magic link sent to your email (on the Nest, you can also sign in with Google or GitHub, and on Open Field with Google); keep access to that inbox or that account secure, since it's the key to your account.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- Peregrine OS is intended for business use by adults (18+); it isn't directed at consumers or minors. The Nest is open to anyone 18 or older.
- Tell us right away at hello@peregrineintell.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans (the Peregrine OS feeds) are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis until you cancel. Peregrine OS briefs are paid with credits, not a plan; see Peregrine credits.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through Stripe's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll retain access until then.
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Plans are billed on a monthly cycle; if you upgrade or downgrade, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle rather than a prorated mid-cycle charge or credit.
- We may change our prices; we'll give you notice before a change applies to your next billing cycle.
Professional services
Separately from the self-serve tools, we offer done-for-you research and consulting, such as account research, pipeline builds, strategy sessions, location analyses, custom monitoring feeds, and custom research engagements ("services"). You don't need a Peregrine OS subscription to buy services. These terms apply to services, along with these additional terms:
- The proposal governs. Each engagement starts with a written proposal that sets out its scope, deliverables, timeline, price, and any revisions included. Once you accept a proposal, it and these terms together form our agreement for that engagement. If a proposal conflicts with these terms, the proposal controls for that engagement. Work outside the agreed scope needs a new or updated proposal.
- Payment. We invoice through our payment processor, Stripe. For one-off engagements, 50% of the price is due before work starts and the remaining 50% is due on delivery. For a custom monitoring feed, the setup fee and the first 3 months are due before we start building it; after that, the feed is billed monthly.
- Cancellation. You can cancel an engagement at any time by email. If you cancel after work has started, the upfront payment isn't refundable and nothing further is owed. A custom monitoring feed has a 3-month minimum term; after it, you can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period.
- Your materials. You may share information with us for an engagement, such as target companies, your ideal customer profile, pitch plans, or the addresses of your existing locations. Only share information you have the right to share. We use it only to deliver your engagement and keep it confidential, except that our service providers process it as needed to do that work (see the Privacy Policy).
- Deliverables. Once you've paid for an engagement in full, you own the deliverables we produce for you, such as briefs, decks, lists, plans, and reports. We keep ownership of our tools, methods, templates, and general know-how, and we may reuse them in other work, but we won't share your deliverables or your materials with anyone else.
- No contact data. Deliverables identify companies and the roles to reach at them. They don't include personal contact details such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
- Recordings. We record a strategy session only with the consent of everyone on the call, which we ask for at the start. We send you the recording and then delete our copy, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- No guaranteed outcomes. Services are research, analysis, and recommendations, prepared with AI tools and reviewed by a person. We don't guarantee any result, such as winning a pitch or account, reaching a sales figure, or how a location performs. Decisions you make based on our work are yours.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to violate any law, or to harass, defraud, or spam anyone.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the service or its underlying data without our written permission.
- Circumvent fair-use limits, rate limits, or per-tool usage caps.
- Create multiple accounts for yourself, or use automated, scripted, or bulk means to create accounts, including to evade a suspended or terminated account or to get around fair-use or rate limits.
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to interact with the service or any tool beyond normal, individual, human use — for example, submitting bulk or automated queries, or harvesting output at scale.
- Use output from the service as the sole basis for a decision about a person's employment, credit, housing, or other legally protected status.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also rate-limit, block, or reject signups or requests we reasonably believe to be automated, fraudulent, or otherwise abusive — including bulk or bot-driven account creation — without prior notice.
Your content and data
You retain ownership of the inputs you provide and the content you generate using the tools (briefs, snapshots, campaign plans). You grant us a license to process that content as needed to operate the service, including sending relevant inputs to our third-party AI model provider to generate output on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data, including cookies.
Public data sources
Our feeds surface publicly available information (filings, job postings, news, and company technology data) from public and licensed sources. We don't guarantee this data is accurate, complete, or current, and we aren't responsible for decisions made based on it.
Signal history
When you generate a brief, snapshot, or score with a tool (including Quickstrike, Magpie, and Kestrel), we retain the underlying computed values — for example, an opportunity score or a trend value for the company or prospect involved — separately from the narrative brief itself and separately from your account. We use this retained signal data, de-identified from your account, to build historical trend lines and to improve scoring and other product features across Peregrine OS. We don't attribute a retained signal to your account, and we don't disclose to any other user that your account generated it. This is separate from the brief, snapshot, or campaign plan content itself, which remains yours as described above.
Intellectual property
Peregrine OS, Flightpath.AI, the Nest, and the Peregrine Intelligence name and marks are our property. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated content in particular may contain errors; verify anything material before acting on it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service, or to any services engagement, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages, even if we've been advised of the possibility of those damages.
Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time (a custom monitoring feed is subject to its 3-month minimum term; see Professional services). You can also permanently delete your account and all saved data yourself from Your data in the dashboard, which also cancels any active subscriptions. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
